RUSSIA About 150 letters or documents, mostly L.S. or P.S. (some L.A.S.), 1849 - 1918, addressed to or concerning Alexander or Dmitri NELIDOV; mainly in Russian, numerous headers and vignettes. Set of archives concerning the Russian diplomats Alexander and Dimitri NELIDOV. Alexander Ivanovich NELIDOV (1835 - 1910) entered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1855; he represented Russia in Greece, Bulgaria, Austria, Turkey, Saxony, Rome and finally in Paris where he died. His son Dimitri Alexandrovitch NELIDOV (1863 - 1935) was also a diplomat and worked in the Russian embassies in Paris, Constantinople, Budapest, the Vatican and then in Belgium. Letters and instructions from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, chancellery letters, dispatches, passports, accreditations, patents and letters of knighthood, various letters, drafts and minutes, invitation cards, circulars, telegrams, etc. Among the signatories or writers, we note: Ferdinand I of Bulgaria, George I of Greece, Ludwig III of Hesse, Albert of Saxony, Alexander I of Serbia; the ministers Alexandre Gortchakov, Vladimir Lambsdorf, Serguei Sazonov; P. d'Arsonval, Camille Barrère, L.
