Remaining independent, without any external shareholders, Aguttes Auction House has risen over the years to become a major player in the art market. This growth revolves around fundamental values of transparency in mediation, discretion, rigor, and audacity. Founded in Clermont-Ferrand in 1974 by Claude Aguttes, and still a family business with three active children, the firm's team of 60 people is its greatest asset. With its international sales room in the west of Paris and representative offices in Lyon,Clermont-Ferrand, Aix-en-Provence, Brussels and Geneva, the firm stands out for its personalised service and reactivity. The internalized experts of 15 departments ensure the valuation and sale of major collections, paintings, objects, jewels and exceptional motorcars. With its strong communication skills and 50% international buyers, the company frequently achieves world records. Conscious of the trust its sellers have in the company, it remains at their service first.




Our team

The Aguttes team is made up of around sixty people. The specialist departments that maintain and develop commercial relations with our buyers and sellers are grouped according to their speciality under two divisions, a Classical Arts division and an Art of Living & Collections division. Our specialists work on appraising and adding value to the lots entrusted to them. The cataloguers are involved in the specific research for each lot and the drafting of notices for the sales catalogues. The administrators are involved in the administrative and material organisation of the sales. Behind the scenes, a large support team assists the departments: graphic design, photography, print and digital communications and marketing, accounting and billing, not forgetting general services, handling and stock management. Each member of the team is responsible for his or her own area of expertise, helping the departments to achieve the best possible sales results and continually improving the service offered to each of our customers. MARKETING & COMMUNICATION - INTERNSHIP
 

We are looking for an administrative officer to ensure that our client files comply with Aguttes' regulatory obligations, particularly under AML-CFT law.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Compliance to ensure adherence to KYC (“Know Your Customer”) requirements:
* Verifying documentation;
* Ensuring documentation is updated and archived;
* Contacting internal teams and clients to gather missing documents;
* Assisting in the development and implementation of short-, medium-, and long-term processes within a digital transformation context.

Training and Awareness:
* Educating and training team members on compliance best practices;
* Assisting in the creation and dissemination of educational materials to improve understanding of regulatory requirements.

Skills:
* Awareness of regulatory standards;
* Strong proficiency in Excel;
* Attention to detail;
* Strong organizational skills and autonomy.

Desired Profile:
* Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3), preferably in law, management, finance, or compliance.
* Experience: Prior experience in administrative management preferred; experience in compliance is a plus.
