SABRE D'OFFICIER DE CAVALERIE LÉGÈRE, MODEL AN IX Bronze mounting decorated with the line type with the hunter. Oval cap decorated with the line and assembled in the guard. Flat jointing bow decorated with the line from which two branches of guard are detached. Curved quillon in the shape of drop. Cruise in shuttle. Wooden spindle covered with leather with double alternate filigree. Luxurious curved blade with rush, wide counter-edge and carp tongue point. It is engraved and blued in the third, presence of a fabric tie.
Iron scabbard with two large bracelets and brass suspension rings.
France, 1st Empire period.
