This brief manuscript was first published in the "Œuvres posthumes" (p. 412), and appears in the first volume of the "Œuvres complètes de la Bibliothèque de la Pléiade" (edition by Claude Pichois), p. 594, among the "Lists of titles and outlines of novels and short stories".
