Elegant clock in the shape of an antique urn in midnight blue patina bronze and gilded chased bronzes. It rests on a fluted pedestal, friezed with pearls and acanthus leaves. The handles are decorated with two heads of satyrs topped by two snakes with intertwined tails. The lid is decorated with flowers and is topped by a seed-shaped socket. The high base is decorated with pearled rows and acanthus friezes. White marble counter base decorated with an openwork chased bronze and gilt decoration of interlacing. Enamelled dial signed Ragot in Paris, showing the hours in Arabic numerals and the minutes in Roman numerals. It is decorated with a ribbon bow and on the sides of large garlands of laurels in falls. Wire movement. Spinning top legs. Transition period H. 50 ; W. 27 ; D. 17 cm (With its balance, wear to the patina of the vase, slight oxidation)
