Snuffbox of round shape in blond horn with piqué decoration of a semis of stars and a frieze. The lid is decorated with a miniature oval portrait in painted enamel of an elegant woman with a red ribbon; encircled by a yellow gold border chased with a frieze of imbricated piastres. Bears an old label marked "enamel by Weyler". France, second half of the 18th century Diam. 6,3 cm (Some small scratches and chips, pitting of the enamel)
