Exceptional set of two globes, one terrestrial, one celestial designed to carry out astronomical experiments In its vertical axis, the terrestrial globe has a fixed solar ring supporting a train of gears that move a vertical lunar ring, and another one divided into degrees; the globe rotates on itself at an inclination determined by the angle of the ecliptic. The set also includes a mobile arm fixed to the north polar mechanics and a fixed arm with a star at the south pole. The second, celestial globe carries the following signature: "A New Celestial Globe by R. Caifhiee 1730". It has the same turned base as the terrestrial globe, and at the pole, gears that can fit into the mechanical framework of the terrestrial one.
