L’ensemble présenté ici dresse un panel typique du travail de l’artiste Nguyễn Mai Thư, dont le style est identifiable avec ses représentations de la baie d’Along, ses îles, ses jonques et bateaux traditionnels... Le motif de la pagode est également un sujet récurrent chez cet artiste dont la biographie reste à ce jour mystérieuse. Ici, c’est l’entrée du lieu qui est représenté, empreint d’ombres et de lumières.
