Mythique et révolutionnaire Méhari, avec ses indestructibles
éléments mécaniques empruntés à la 2 CV et à la Dyane 6
(plateforme, moteur) et son inédite carrosserie en plastique
ABS teinté dans la masse.
La Méhari qui illustre ces pages fut achetée neuve en 1981
par celui qui est toujours son propriétaire actuel ! La voiture
est d’ailleurs à ce jour toujours accompagnée de son bon de
commande, de sa facture d’achat, de son « barré rouge » et
de son certificat d’immatriculation provisoire : du jamais vu !
Remisée dans une jolie propriété du Quercy, notre Méhari,
a bénéficié en 2015 d’une importante restauration, incluant
notamment le changement des structures tubulaires supportant
la carrosserie, d’une nouvelle peinture dans sa teinte Beige
Hoggar d’origine, d’une nouvelle bâche, et d’une sérieuse
révision mécanique, pour un montant de plus de 11 000 €, dans
un garage spécialisé (facture jointe au dossier).
Peu utilisée depuis, elle nécessitera une très légère révision
(batterie, fuite à l’échappement notamment) avant de passer le
contrôle technique et de ravir son futur deuxième propriétaire…
Véritable symbole de liberté et d’un art de vivre, nous vous

a new paint job in its original Hoggar Beige colour, a new soft

€11,000, at a specialist garage (invoice attached).
Little used since, it will need a minor overhaul (battery, exhaust
leak in particular) before passing the roadworthiness test and
delighting its future second owner...
