THE ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER SHADOW
EX-COLLECTION YVES SAINT LAURENT

On March 10th, our upcoming Collectors' Cars Auction • La Vente de Printemps will take place at Espace Champerret. We are delighted to present to you an automobile with an exceptional provenance, as it is none other than the personal Rolls-Royce of Yves Saint Laurent. Ordered new in July 1974 from Franco Britannic by the renowned fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent, this Silver Shadow was only registered in Paris on January 9th, 1975, after the installation of an alarm for the mascot connected to the horn.

In the hands of its third and current owner since 1991, it was initially ordered in a special optional color, Chicassion Blue, with a dark brown leather interior. Yves Saint Laurent later decided to repaint it in this metallic dark green color, while keeping its interior which remains original to this day.

We were amazed by its operation, both mechanically and in terms of its riding comfort, highlighting the undeniable road qualities of the model.
