1939 – Delage D6 3 Litre Le Mans
A monument to automobile history, this authentic racing car is the only survivor of the 1939 Le Mans 24 Hours podium, which it finished in second place. It led the field for over 20 hours, a record unmatched to this day in the most legendary and selective of endurance races. The car, whose history is known and well documented from day one, and which also took part in the Mille Miglia in 1940, was restored in the early 1980s, under the supervision of the engineers, mechanics, coachbuilders and drivers of the time.

Estimation: 800 000 - 1 200 000€

2005 – Citroën 2 CV Bi-BiP
Named Bi-BiP in reference to the famous cartoon of the same name, this is the 2CV Bimoteur built by the experts at Mehari Club Cassis and featured in the 2005 Dakar, one of the last real Dakars to be run on the African continent. This unique 2CV, which pays tribute to the extremely rare and much sought-after 2CV 4x4 Sahara, even achieved the feat of rallying to Dakar... Today, it's the ideal candidate to take part in the Dakar Classic.

Estimation: 40 000 - 70 000€

1956 – Bentley S-Type Continental Sports Saloon Fastback
A skilful blend of elegance, class and performance, this Bentley, nicknamed The Silent Sports Car, is a true rarity, with only 26 left-hand drive examples produced. It also boasts a crystal-clear history, with only 5 owners in almost 70 years. Delivered new to French haute couture house Carven, it was also part of singer Florent Pagny's collection in the early 1990s.

Estimation: 250 000 - 350 000€

Sleeping cars collection
By coincidence of the calendar and our meetings, four cars that have been lying dormant in different garages for decades will come together on Sunday under the hammer of Maître Claude Aguttes. A Ferrari 365 GT 2+2, a Jaguar Type E 3.8 Roadster "Plancher Plat", a Porsche 356 C and a 911 2.2 S Targa will be on display side by side at Espace Champerret from Friday November 24 to Sunday November 26, the day of the sale.
If cars could talk, what would these four icons of the 1960s-1970s have to say to each other? A gilded youth, luxurious and sporty, then a peaceful retirement, out of sight, once they had gone out of fashion? Passing on the baton and selling the emotion, Aguttes will leave their future owners (unless a single collector of garage exits buys the lot!), the Cornelian choice of keeping them as they are after good mechanical care, or offering them a concours restoration worthy of their value.
