On the road to Le Mans Classic
More than ever, the Aguttes on Wheels department is living up to its name! We're delighted to announce that four members of the Aguttes auction house's classic car department will be taking part in the forthcoming Le Mans Classic, the world's finest historic race, which takes place from July 4 to 6 on the legendary 13.626 km Sarthe track. Augustin Delalande, Paul-Emile Coignet, Hugo Baldy and Gautier Rossignol will have the chance to share the wheel of a 1936 Delahaye 135 S in Plateau 1, reserved for pre-war cars similar to those entered between 1923 and 1939. The aim is to share a good time as a team, have fun on the track, reach the finish, and - above all - meet you, to share our common passion, whether in the pre-war paddock or at our reception in the unmissable Camping du Houx, in the heart of the circuit, especially as our consultants Raphaël de Serres, Jean-Philippe Majorel and Carlos Beltran will also be taking part!
Created in 2002 by Peter Auto, in association with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, Le Mans Classic offers a formidable retrospective of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Acclaimed from its very first edition, Le Mans Classic has gone from strength to strength, becoming the world's largest classic car gathering, with nearly 700 racing cars on track, over 8,000 collector cars and almost 235,000 visitors at the last edition in 2023, the centenary anniversary... If you haven't already done so, book your tickets, and see you in Le Mans in a few days' time, for this event like no other!
