A chapter dedicated to Citroën as part of La Vente de Printemps!

The Aguttes auction house presents Passion Citroën, a private collection considered one of the most beautiful and significant collections dedicated to the brand with the chevrons in Europe. It will be dispersed during La Vente de Printemps, organized in Paris on March 16, 2025. Featuring nearly 40 cars, this collection tells the story of a Swiss aesthete who meticulously gathered the rarest and most iconic models. The decision has been made to sell the entire collection, which has been entrusted to Aguttes on Wheels.

With its expertise, following the centenary sale of the brand in 2019 and the auctions of the Peugeot Citroën DS Adventure reserves since 2020, Aguttes on Wheels will dedicate part of its Spring Sale to this assembly, highlighting the exceptional heritage of the famous French brand. Enthusiasts and collectors will have a unique opportunity to acquire vehicles chosen for both their history and their technical and aesthetic innovations.

Passion Citroën: A Story in 40 Icons

The collection includes, among others, seven Citroën DS models ranging from 1957 to 1974, each marking a major evolution of the model, the very first Citroën SM ever delivered new in Switzerland (chassis 39), as well as an incredible duo consisting of the only Citroën BX 4TC and Visa 1000 Piste 4x4 ever delivered new in Switzerland. The collection grew until 2019, the brand's centenary year.

Still very young and with a diploma in hand, the owner took over the family business in 1982, already with solid experience gained from working with Citroën dealers, eventually moving to the Swiss importer’s headquarters in Bern. After thirty years of representing the brand, as well as searching for rare Citroën classics across Europe and restoring them, the passion remains unchanged. The selection is thematic, with popular models such as the 2CV, Ami 6, Dyane, and small GS alongside the brand’s oldest productions, such as a rare Kégresse military vehicle and a stunning C6 flatbed truck. The DS models are complemented by the two Traction 7C and 15 Six D, as well as a beautiful selection of even rarer cars like the M35 prototype, a GS Birotor (produced in just 840 units). The sportier models are also well represented with rare pieces like the MEP X27, BX 4TC, Visa 1000 Pistes 4x4, or sought-after youngtimers such as the CX 2400 GTI in mandarin color, CX 2400 Prestige, BX GTI 16S, XM, Xantia Activa, and C6 3.0, to name a few.

Citroën and the Icons of Enamel: An Unprecedented Collector’s Auction

A few days later, on March 20, at its auction hall in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Aguttes on Wheels will present one of the most important collections of enamel signs dedicated to Citroën, as well as various car manufacturers, suppliers, pedal cars, and vintage toys. Citroën and the Icons of Enamel: An Unprecedented Collector’s Auction will feature over 500 lots in this special event.
