The 1979 Bultaco Frontera MK11 B 370 is one of the last great creations from a manufacturer that left an indelible mark on the history of Spanish motorcycling.
Founded in 1958 by Francisco Bultó, known as "Paco", following his high-profile split with Montesa, Bultaco established itself within two decades as one of the most respected brands in global off-road motorcycling. Whether in trials, enduro or speed racing, the Sant Adrià de Besòs-based firm excelled on all terrains, driven by a deeply ingrained culture of competition.
The Frontera is Bultaco’s flagship enduro model. In its MK11 B 370 version, it reached a remarkable level of technical maturity: a 370cc single-cylinder two-stroke engine, a chassis refined through years of development in competition, and suspension systems engineered to handle the most demanding terrain. A serious machine, built by serious people, for riders who were just as serious.
1979 was, however, a significant year for Bultaco. The brand was then facing serious industrial difficulties that would lead to its permanent closure in 1983. A model from this year is therefore one of the last remaining examples of a production line that was running on fumes but never gave up, which gives it a special historical value. This particular model is the 11B M215A “white version”.
Rare, authentic, and steeped in a history that goes far beyond the realm of mere mechanics.
