The 1976 Bultaco Frontera MK10 250 is a machine that speaks directly to those familiar with the history of Spanish enduro.

The MK10 represents a key milestone in the evolution of the Frontera. Halfway through a particularly fruitful decade for Bultaco, this 250cc version encapsulates the achievements of several years of intensive development: a refined chassis, a tried-and-tested two-stroke engine, and equipment progressively enhanced through competition. A machine at the height of its maturity, neither a tentative prototype nor a model at the end of its run.

1976 was a fine year for Bultaco. The brand was still at the height of its powers, its riders were shining on the international stage, and its workshops in Sant Adrià de Besòs were running at full capacity. The Frontera MK10 250 of this era bears the hallmarks of that era: meticulous construction and mechanical consistency that the difficult years towards the end of the decade would gradually erode.

In the hierarchy of collectible Fronteras, the MK10 occupies a prominent place. Predating the Gold Medal, it is often less sought after by the general public, which paradoxically makes it a rarer item on the market, as well-preserved examples have become considerably scarce over time.

The 1976 Bultaco Frontera MK10 250 is a machine that speaks directly to those familiar with the history of Spanish enduro.

The MK10 represents a key stage in the evolution of the Frontera. In the midst of a particularly fruitful decade for Bultaco, this 250cc version encapsulates the achievements of several years of intensive development: a refined chassis, a tried-and-tested two-stroke engine and equipment progressively enhanced through competition. A machine in its prime, neither a tentative prototype nor a model at the end of its useful life.

1976 was a great year for Bultaco. The brand remained in top form, its riders shone on international circuits and its workshops in Sant Adrià de Besòs were operating at full capacity. The Frontera MK10 250 from this era bears this hallmark: meticulous construction and mechanical consistency that the difficult years at the end of the decade would gradually erode.

In the hierarchy of collectible Fronteras, the MK10 occupies a privileged position. Preceding the Gold Medal, it is generally less sought after by the general public, which, paradoxically, makes it a scarcer item on the market, as well-preserved examples have become considerably rarer over time.
