The Land Rover Defender 110 is one of the most iconic models in the Land Rover range. Introduced in 1983 under the name One Ten, in reference to its 110-inch wheelbase, it was designed to offer more space and versatility than the 90 version. Robust and functional, it quickly established itself as a benchmark vehicle for professionals, government agencies, the armed forces and adventurers worldwide.

Built on a particularly sturdy ladder-frame chassis and equipped with permanent four-wheel drive, the Defender 110 stands out for its remarkable off-road capabilities. Available in numerous configurations — estate, pick-up or covered version — it can accommodate up to nine passengers depending on the layout. Its simple, durable design, combined with reliable mechanics, has enabled it to adapt to the most demanding conditions, from African tracks to polar regions.

Throughout its history, the Defender has been fitted with various petrol and diesel engines, whilst retaining its authentic character and timeless style. Produced in its original form until 2016, it has now become a true icon of the off-road vehicle. Our example is a former German army vehicle, originally fitted with a 3.5-litre V8 engine. With just 79,000 km on the clock, it has undergone a superb restoration completed this year. It was completely stripped down to accommodate a new galvanised chassis. Mechanically, the engine has been overhauled and tuned using an Edelbrock intake system. The sound of the V8 has been enhanced by a stainless steel exhaust system. It is worth noting that the 5-speed manual gearbox is brand new.

Cosmetically, the bodywork has been finished in a magnificent Marine Blue. Its modernised lights, metallic grey grille, and black wheels and cover give it a superb look. Inside, the houndstooth upholstery is brand new. It complements the body colour perfectly. It also features a three-spoke chrome steering wheel and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. Every detail has been carefully considered. Note that it comes with a 3-seater registration document.
