“In good overall condition, very attractive valuation!”

In 1965, Chevrolet launched the Caprice as a top-of-the-range version of the Impala. The idea was simple: to offer a car that was more luxurious than the Impala without reaching the price levels of a Cadillac.

For the 1967 model year, four body styles were available: Sport Sedan (4-door hardtop), Estate, 4-door saloon, and the very elegant Custom Coupé (2-door hardtop).

Our example features this trim, by far the most elegant and sporty! As indicated by its manufacturer’s plate, this Caprice was built in Canada. According to the information provided to the seller, it spent its entire life there before being imported in 2017 to Alsace, the region where it still resides.

Today, the bodywork shows signs of a fairly good-quality restoration carried out some time ago, and the upholstery is in excellent condition. However, there are signs of surface corrosion. Our test drive showed us that, despite having been off the road for the past year, it runs quite well. A routine service, particularly of the running gear, is recommended.

Offered at a very reasonable estimate, this Caprice is a wonderful opportunity for an American car enthusiast looking to enter the world of collecting!
