- Authentic Lotus Seven S2 fitted with the desirable 1,498 cc engine featuring a Lotus-Holbay cylinder head. Comprehensive mechanical rebuild completed in 2026 at a cost exceeding €12,000. Engine currently being run in. Retains its original chassis, documented history, and is still accompanied by its original V5 registration document and Buff Log Book.

- More than simply an automobile, the Lotus Seven represents the purest expression of Colin Chapman’s philosophy. With its minimal weight, ultra-light chassis and complete absence of unnecessary features, it remains one of the most uncompromising sports cars ever offered for road use. Produced between 1960 and 1968, the Series 2 is widely regarded today as the most elegant and most desirable of all Lotus-built Sevens.

- Chassis SB1841 is a particularly attractive example. An authentic Seven S2, it retains its original chassis, carefully restored during the 2000s and presented today in remarkably well-preserved condition. Still accompanied by its original British V5 registration document and period Log Book, this car benefits from a level of traceability that is increasingly rare in the world of historic Lotus automobiles, where correctly identified examples are becoming ever more difficult to find.

- Under the bonnet lies the sought-after 1,498 cc Ford engine fitted with a Lotus-Holbay cylinder head. Producing approximately 140 horsepower, this powerplant delivers a truly exceptional power-to-weight ratio. With less than 550 kilograms to propel, this Seven offers performance and driving sensations capable of rivaling far more modern sports cars. To ensure reliability and driving enjoyment, the car has recently benefited from a comprehensive mechanical overhaul including an engine rebuild, clutch replacement, brake system refurbishment and a complete rewiring of the electrical system.

- Aesthetically, this example stands out thanks to its particularly attractive presentation and the retention of numerous rarely preserved period-correct components. The elegant long front wings, complete with their original side lamps, are genuine period items rather than modern reproductions. The original flared rear wings further enhance the car’s visual appeal, while the beautifully preserved original gauges reflect the care devoted to its preservation. The pair of small bucket seats currently fitted reinforces the car’s sporting character, although these may easily be replaced with a more traditional bench seat offering improved ease of access.

- Carefully enhanced over the years without ever compromising its authenticity, this Seven now presents a rare balance of originality, performance and cosmetic quality. Combining its original chassis, valuable historical documentation, recently rebuilt mechanical components and particularly attractive presentation, it is undoubtedly one of the most compelling Lotus Seven S2s currently offered for sale.
