made of silver, rectangular in shape, with a border decorated with fillets. The interior features rich engraved decoration, with a figure of Ceres at the centre set within an opulent rocaille cartouche, and around the edge a frame of grotesque friezes linked by rocaille-shaped spandrel cartouches and adorned with medallion portraits of ancient deities in profile.
