

A baluster-shaped silver piece. The plain body, accented with fluting, is engraved with the combined coat of arms of the David-Beauregard and Fortia de Piles families, who were united in 1763, beneath a marquis’s crown and set within a rocaille cartouche. It has a tripod base and a slanted handle in turned, blackened wood. Illegible
