The Bullet was born in 1931, but it was in the post-war period that it found its definitive form and purpose. Robust, reliable and of disarming mechanical simplicity, it established itself as the bike of choice both on English roads and on Indian tracks, where it was produced under licence by Enfield India from 1955 onwards, giving rise to one of the most unlikely and enduring industrial adventures in the history of motorcycling.

By 1964, the Bullet 350 was a machine at the peak of its design maturity. Its 346cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine with rocker arms, with its unmistakable sound, delivered modest power but generous torque—that of an engine designed to last and to be serviced anywhere, using simple tools and readily available parts. The left-foot-operated four-speed gearbox, telescopic fork and double-cradle frame complete a design of absolute coherence.

1964 was one of the final years of purely British production, before the industrial difficulties that would affect the entire British motorcycle industry began to weigh on the brand. A model from this year is therefore a precious testament to a craftsmanship and an era now gone by.

A timeless machine, for a collector who appreciates solid, enduring quality.
