Ducson is a Barcelona-based brand founded by Vicente Solá in the 1950s. After manufacturing bicycles and a large number of spare parts for motorcycles, Ducson shifted its focus to creating its own motorised vehicles in 1958. Its first model fitted with a Ducson engine was the Repris, considered the best sports moped of its time.

A year after the S.10, Ducson took another step forward. The S.12 benefited from all the refinement work carried out through competition, an additional season on Spanish circuits, feedback from demanding riders such as Pere Auradell and Ricard Fargas, and the Solá brothers’ constant obsession with extracting the maximum from a 49cc engine without ever sacrificing reliability. The result is a more consistent, more precise machine, every detail of which has been re-engineered in the light of accumulated experience.

The cradle and fishbone frame, introduced with the S generation in 1962, reaches a remarkable level of maturity in this version: rigid, precise, and with a carefully crafted lightness that directly contributes to performance. The 49 cm³ two-stroke engine fitted with a Dell'Orto carburettor is a power unit with a well-established reputation – the very same one that the Solá brothers supplied to competition riders without ever needing to adjust the carburetion, such was its perfection.

The ‘Especial’ designation here marks a genuine distinction within the S.12 range, featuring superior finishes, enhanced equipment, and particular attention paid to every visible and invisible component. A machine built to last and to perform, in keeping with the sporting philosophy that has always guided Ducson since its inception.

Please note that this lot must be collected after the sale near Bagnères-de-Luchon, in the Central Pyrenees, in the town of Les - Lérida; collection must take place between 5 and 10 May 2026.
