The introduction of the 360cc model to the Pursang range marks a major shift in the bike’s philosophy. Without compromising on the qualities that have made the range’s reputation—lightness, agility and meticulous build quality—Bultaco has taken a significant step forward in terms of raw power. The 360cc single-cylinder two-stroke engine gives the MK7 a more muscular, more physical character, setting it apart from the 250cc versions that preceded it. A machine for experienced riders, demanding respect and repaying those who know how to tame it.

1973 was a significant year for Bultaco and for Spanish motocross as a whole. International competition was at its peak, Japanese manufacturers had firmly established themselves in the European market, and every new version of the Pursang had to be a credible response to this pressure. The MK7 360 rose to this challenge with authority.

In the hierarchy of collectible Pursangs, the 360 versions occupy a special place. Fewer in number than the 250s, produced over a shorter period, they are now particularly sought after by collectors who recognise the difference: that of a rarer, more temperamental machine, one that carries a specific history within the range.

A 1973 model in good condition is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
