Born in post-war England, the Cyclemaster was an ingenious response to an era of reconstruction, hungry for mobility and ingenuity. This small 25 or 32 cc two-stroke engine, housed directly in the rear wheel, transformed any bicycle into a moped without altering its silhouette or elegance. An idea of disarming simplicity, executed with quintessential British rigour.

Paired with a Raleigh Gentleman’s Cycle—one of the most distinguished models in British production, a symbol of understated elegance and craftsmanship—it forms a combination of rare coherence. The rigour of the Raleigh frame, with its straight lines, naturally complements the mechanical discretion of the Cyclemaster.

Today, such a combination evokes a whole vanished world: that of English country lanes, misty mornings, and a certain vision of the gentleman on the move. This model has a very fine appearance and retains all its authenticity.
