Following its collaboration with the Rickman brothers on the production of the first Pursang, Bultaco undertook the second version of this model on its own. Everything about this motorbike is new, from its more refined aesthetics to its engine, which, for the first time for the brand, was fitted with a 5-speed gearbox and a robust chassis offering exceptional handling that would set the standard.
An uncompromising competition machine, built for speed and performance on rough terrain. From its very first appearances, it established itself as a serious contender against the best European models.
The 1967 MK2 was the immediate culmination of this first generation. Building on the lessons learnt from the previous season, this machine showed no mercy to mediocrity but generously rewarded talent.
1967 was a pivotal year for Spanish motocross, and the Pursang is one of its most eloquent symbols. Produced in limited numbers and intended primarily for competition, it was rarely spared from heavy use, making every surviving example all the more precious.
A thoroughbred machine, in every sense of the word.
