Zoran Music was a Slovenian painter and printmaker born in 1909. He belonged to the Paris School, which included foreign artists in 20th-century Paris who helped to make the city an international art capital. Music found his aesthetic way by depicting animals and nature, especially in his native Dalmatia. Byzantine art as well as Italian painters such as Giotto and Cimabue were his influences.
