Reliquary bust of a holy woman

In terracotta. Dressed in an antique-style gown with a central clasp designed to hold relics (now missing), she wears her hair in a bun with strands falling down.
Italy, 16th century.
Height: 37 cm – Width: 34 cm.
On a pedestal. Red wax seal ‘CF’ beneath a count’s crown on the underside of the bust.
