Forged iron, of the type found in the Castillon-la-Bataille group. Flat, teardrop-shaped pommel.
Broad tang measuring 1 cm / 0.5 cm / 9 cm
. Guard with two straight quillons with quadrangular sides, ending in two small hooks parallel to the blade, 17 cm.
Straight, double-edged blade, 78.5 cm.
Stamped at the heel (partly beneath the guard). It features a central fuller running three-quarters of the way along the blade,
as well as two small secondary fullers at the heel.
Work carried out after the period to which this type corresponds.
Oxidation; centre of gravity at 16 cm.
