SAINTE ANNE TRINITAIRE GROUP

A finely crafted, carved, polychrome and gilded oak sculpture depicting the Infant Jesus held in his Mother’s arms, alongside his grandmother Saint Anne. In his left hand he holds a bird, and with his right hand he takes a piece of fruit from the basket offered to him by Saint Anne. Saint Anne and the Virgin Mary are standing; the Virgin Mary is crowned and Saint Anne is wearing a guimp. Hollowed-out back.
