Based on a model likely to have been made around the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, our two examples are similar to those held in various institutions such as the V&A Museum in London (inv. nos. A.10-1964 and A.11-1964), the MET Museum in New York (inv. nos. 64.101.1564 and 64.101.1565) and, in particular, the Louvre Museum (inv. nos. OA 697 A and B).
