The ivory body is carved in bas-relief with three men indulging in carnal pleasures: one caressing the breast of a naked woman, another being massaged by a naked woman, and the last being served a drink by a naked woman. The base, handle and lid are made of partially gilded silver, featuring repoussé fruit motifs and cabochons of turquoise and semi-precious stones. The fretel is in the shape of a young hunter smoking a pipe, seated on a barrel with his rifle.
