made of semi-precious stones. The head and neck are carved from a single piece of rock crystal (quartz). The torso is carved from a single piece of agate (mokaite jasper) and features, at its centre, a cameo depicting the Rondanini Medusa. The circular pedestal on a square base is made from three pieces of bloodstone (heliotrope).
