



In silver, pedestal-style. The plain body is decorated with plant friezes; the handle is finely chased with an eagle’s head. The bowl is engraved with the coat of arms of the Vialètes d’Aignan de Mortarieu family beneath a baronial crown, with a Cross of the Legion of Honour beneath the rim. On an oval base decorated with rosettes and pearl friezes, resting on claw feet.
Hallmarks: Head of a Greek woman, Old Man and Minerva. No silversmith’s mark.
