



With a silver mount in the shape of an antique vase. The body is decorated with openwork designs of flowering amphorae flanked by facing peacocks. The handles feature busts of sphinxes and the lid is crowned with a dolphin. The rims are adorned with friezes of palmettes. The square base rests on claw feet.
Hallmark: Vieille Femme 1st title, Province, 1819–1838. Silversmith’s mark illegible.
