Le drapeau français est agité par Jean-Marie Balestre, alors directeur de la FFSA, donnant le départ de la plus mythique des épreuves d'endurance, les 24 Heures du Mans. Parmi les 55 voitures partantes, le public remarque une étonnante BMW 3.0 CSL, arborant une incroyable livrée. A son volant, le légendaire commissaire-priseur Hervé Poulain, gentleman driver à ses heures, qui a demandé l'artiste Alexander Calder, connu pour ses mobiles révolutionnaires, mis en mouvement au gré de l'air, de peindre sa monture. Même si l'aventure s'arrête au 7e tour, le mouvement des Art Car est né┤~ -	Peter Klasen, né en 1935, est un artiste allemand associé au mouvement de la Nouvelle Figuration et de la Figuration Narrative. Son ▄uvre se distingue par une critique visuelle de la société industrielle, utilisant des éléments tirés de la publicité, de la signalisation industrielle, et des images médicales pour explorer les thèmes de l'aliénation et de l'isolement humain. Klasen, diplomé de la Haute Ecole des Arts de Berlin, combine souvent photographie, peinture et objets trouvés dans des compositions complexes qui interrogent la relation entre technologie et humanité. Son travail provoque une réflexion sur les impacts de la modernité sur l'individu, le rendant une voix importante dans l'art contemporain européen. Il compose essentiellement des tableaux mêlant la représentation d'objets industriels à des détails de corps féminins.~ -	Depuis la fin des années 1990, Peter Klasen a réalisé une poignée d'Art Car, parmi lesquelles deux Porsche de course (une GT2 de 1998 et une 911 de 1965), deux Ferrari et┤ Une Tesla S. Cette Ferrari 328 GTS a été commandée vers 2010 par un galeriste français amoureux du Mecanic Art.~ -	Livrée neuve en France en avril 1986 via Pozzi, cette désirable 328 GTS n'a connu que très peu de propriétaires, avant d'être acquise par une galerie afin de de laisser libre cours à l'imagination et au génie de Peter Klasen. Totalisant un peu moins de 120 000 km (compteur changé à 85 000 km, facture au dossier), cette Ferrari a bénéficié d'un entretien suivi (carnet présent), dont une importante révision avec changement des courroies de distribution en 2021, par le garage Paris Londres Automobiles à Gentilly. Non utilisée depuis, elle nécessitera une remise en route et les révisions d'usage avant de reprendre la route. ~ -	Mondialement connue et reconnue, cette 328 GTS, que Peter Klasen définit comme une « sculpture mobile, efficace et performante, avec laquelle les plus belles formes de l'esthétique industrielle rejoignent celles de l'Art Contemporain », jamais vue sur le marché, attend désormais un nouvel amateur, esthète à la recherche de l'une des plus belles oreuvres automobiles. Cette Art Car unique, qui fut exposée dans des musées, des galeries d'Art Contemporain, au Mans Classic ou à Chantilly Art & Elegance par Richard Mille est vendue avec sa lithographie dédicacée encadrée, un livre sur l'exposition Mecanica à Paris en 2014, incluant son making of, ainsi qu'un livre sur son exposition au Musée Posco de Séoul, en Corée. Among the 55 cars taking part, the public noticed an astonishing BMW 3.0 CSL, sporting an incredible livery. Behind the wheel was legendary auctioneer Hervé Poulain, a gentleman driver in his own right, who had commissioned the artist Alexander Calder, renowned for his revolutionary mobiles set in motion by the air, to paint his mount. Although the adventure ended on the 7th lap, the Art Car movement was born...~ Peter Klasen, born in 1935, is a German artist associated with the New Figuration and Narrative Figuration movements. His work is characterised by a visual critique of industrial society, using elements drawn from advertising, industrial signage and medical images to explore themes of alienation and human isolation. Klasen, a graduate of the Berlin University of the Arts, often combines photography, painting and found objects in complex compositions that question the relationship between technology and humanity. His work provokes reflection on the impact of modernity on the individual, making him an important voice in European contemporary art. He mainly composes paintings that combine representations of industrial objects with details of the female body.~ Since the late 1990s, Peter Klasen has produced a handful of art cars, including two racing Porsches (a 1998 GT2 and a 1965 911), two Ferraris and... a Tesla S. This Ferrari 328 GTS was commissioned around 2010 by a French gallery owner with a passion for Mecanic Art.~ Delivered new to France in April 1986 via Pozzi, this desirable 328 GTS had very few owners, before being acquired by a gallery to give free rein to the imagination and genius of Peter Klasen. With a total of just under 120,000 km (odometer changed at 85,000 km, invoice on file), this Ferrari has benefited from regular servicing (service book present), including a major overhaul with replacement of the timing belts in 2021, by the Paris Londres Automobiles garage in Gentilly. Not used since, it will need to be restarted and serviced before being driven again. ~ This world-famous 328 GTS, which Peter Klasen describes as a 'mobile, efficient, high-performance sculpture in which the most beautiful forms of industrial aesthetics meet those of contemporary art', has never been seen on the market before, and is now waiting for a new enthusiast in search of one of the finest works of motoring. This unique Art Car, which has been exhibited in museums, contemporary art galleries, at Le Mans Classic and at Chantilly Art & Elegance by Richard Mille, is being sold with its framed autographed lithograph, a book on the Mecanica exhibition in Paris in 2014, including its making of, and a book on its exhibition at the Posco Museum in Seoul, Korea.
