La définition était simple : trois ou quatre roues, 2-places, moins de 350 kg hors accessoires, et un moteur de moins de 1 100 cm3.~ -	Le régime fiscal spécifique et avantageux, qui sera supprimé en 1925, permit néanmoins l'éclosion d'un très grand nombre de constructeurs et assembleurs. Parmi la production pléthorique, les Amilcar tirèrent rapidement leur épingle du jeu. La première Amilcar, la CC, était équipée d'un 4-cylindres à soupapes latérales de 904 cm3, d'une boîte 3-vitesses. Elle sera suivie du C4 (châssis long), et du CS, un peu plus « sportif ». ~ -	Au Salon de Paris 1923, le CGS (Grand Sport) fait son apparition. Ce nouveau modèle remportera un grand succès, tant sur le plan commercial que sportif, notamment grâce à son moteur 1100 cm3 | ce sera le plus grand succès de la marque.~ -	La voiture qui illustre ces pages est l'un de ces CGS, restauré à partir d'un châssis, de trains roulants et d'une caisse d'origine (phots jointes au dossier). Il est équipé d'un moteur de type M, et amélioré d'un pont (à différentiel), du système de freinage et d'une boîte 4-vitesses d'origine de CGSs.~ -	En bon état de fonctionnement et vendu avec sa remorque bâchée sur-mesure et un lot de pièces important, cet Amilcar CGS, amélioré avec des pièces de CGSs, est parfait pour débuter en cyclecar.~ ~ -	More than any other brand, Amilcar is inextricably linked to the epic story of cyclecars, which were all the rage in the early 1920s. The definition was simple: three or four wheels, two seats, less than 350 kg without accessories, and an engine smaller than 1,100 cc.~ -	-The specific and advantageous tax regime, which was abolished in 1925, nevertheless allowed a large number of manufacturers and assemblers to flourish. Among the plethora of models produced, Amilcars quickly came out on top. The first Amilcar, the CC, was equipped with a 904 cmⁿ 4-cylinder side-valve engine and a 3-speed gearbox. It was followed by the C4 (long chassis) and the CS, which was a little more 'sporty'. ~ -	-At the 1923 Paris Motor Show, the CGS (Grand Sport) made its debut. This new model was a great success, both commercially and in terms of sport, thanks in particular to its 1100 cc engine| it would be the brand's greatest success.~ -	The car illustrated on these pages is one of these CGS models, restored from an original chassis, running gear and body (photos attached to the file). It is equipped with an M-type engine and has been upgraded with a differential axle, braking system and original CGS 4-speed gearbox.~ -	In good working order and sold with its custom-made covered trailer and a large set of parts, this Amilcar CGS, upgraded with CGS parts, is perfect for getting started in cyclecars.~ ~ Est. 70 000 - 90 000 ░~ Sans réserve~
