« In good overall condition; same owner from 1992 to 2026! »
The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow was unveiled in 1965 at the London Motor Show following ten years of design and development. Its production marked a historic turning point for the British marque.
The new production saloon retained the engine and Hydramatic gearbox of the latest Silver Cloud models, but now featured a monocoque body with rear suspension and coil springs, and was equipped with four-wheel disc brakes with power assistance.
In another revolutionary move, the Silver Shadow was designed to be driven by its owner rather than a chauffeur. It enjoyed unexpected commercial success until 1976, with nearly 20,000 units sold across all versions.
Our example is a right-hand drive model in mint condition, featuring a rare and striking colour combination. In 1992, it joined the garage of a prominent collector in the Paris region, who ensured it received meticulous maintenance, mostly at ODS workshops. Today, it is in excellent condition and runs perfectly: a testament to the benefits of regular use!
Silver Shadows in good working order and condition are becoming rare on the market… Here is a fine example that will satisfy even the most discerning collectors!
