Touring guitar used by David Renson with Pat Ramsey & The Blues Disciples, signed by Johnny Winter, with a certificate of provenance.

A beautiful Supro ‘Belmont’ electric guitar, finished in ‘pink sparkle’ pearlescent celluloid, made in the USA circa 1960, with a white pickguard bearing Johnny Winter’s felt-tip pen signature.

Former touring guitar of guitarist David Renson, used on stage and in the studio with Pat Ramsey & The Blues Disciples between 1998 and 2008. The band opened for Johnny Winter on several occasions, notably at the Big Bend Blues Bash. During a trip to Maine, the band stopped off at Johnny Winter’s home in Easton (Connecticut); the musician tried out the guitar, commented on the neck setup for bottleneck playing, and then agreed to sign the pickguard, which was subsequently replaced to preserve the autograph. Included are a handwritten letter and envelope from David Renson dated 2026, detailing this encounter and the guitar’s use on several live tracks, providing solid provenance within the contemporary blues scene.
