Brown and gold metallic shirt

A long-sleeved shirt in brown and gold metallic synthetic fabric, with full-length buttons, a classic collar and plain cuffs. It features the understated yet spectacular aesthetic typical of Michael Jackson in the late 1980s and 1990s. According to a letter of provenance, which will be handed over to the buyer and signed by Frank Cascio, a friend and collaborator of Michael Jackson, this shirt is said to have belonged to the artist’s personal wardrobe, and to have been given to him by Michael Jackson himself.

– Michael Jackson’s personal wardrobe. United States
.– Gifted to Frank Cascio, according to the certificate of provenance. United States
.– Lot 78, Rock & Roll Pop Culture auction, November 2016, Gotta Have Rock and Roll–

Given the lack of additional photographic or archival evidence linking this shirt to a specific appearance or performance by Michael Jackson, its attribution to the artist’s personal wardrobe should be regarded as probable but not certain. The buyer is advised to conduct their own research and seek advice from a consultant of their choice before bidding.
