The 205 is without doubt the most emblematic French car of the 1980s, and the copy that illustrates these pages is a striking example of this, since it is a Grand Luxe finish from the first year of production!
Our example was delivered new on the 8th of July 1983 by Mondelange Auto to a certain Lothaire T., from Moselle, who kept the car until 2020! It then passed through the hands of two local enthusiasts, before ending up in the current owner's collection.
Today, its odometer shows less than 45,000 km, easily verifiable thanks to the Histovec, but also thanks to its maintenance and warranty booklet!
The car is in good overall condition, with a very nice interior and well-preserved paintwork, and we'll just note a few minor bodywork defects. It runs quite well despite not being used much recently. A minor overhaul will therefore be necessary before taking to the road again.
Early 205s in good condition are rare commodities... and this one is lucky enough to have low mileage too! Collectors beware!
