Triumph TR6 – 1974
French registration title
Introduced in 1968, the Triumph TR6 succeeded the TR5 and TR250. The German coachbuilder Karmann was tasked with modernizing the design, which met with considerable success.
Equipped with the 2.5-liter inline-six engine with carburetors, this particular example is without a doubt one of the most high-performing currently on the market. Over €38,000 have been invested since its purchase in 2017!
Carefully restored and meticulously maintained, the entire bodywork has been redone. The wheels and chrome parts are new, as is the upholstery. The soft top, tonneau cover, and hood cover were all replaced in December 2023.
Mechanically, the engine — fed by three Weber carburetors —and the 4-speed manual gearbox with optional overdrive deliver increased power. The driving experience is exhilarating, and the quality of the preparation is top-notch.
Behind the wheel, the owner has covered many miles during rallies organized by the Automobile Club de France, without encountering a single issue. Reliable, powerful, and elegant, this TR6 has all the right arguments to win you over.
