NOTE The 'Champ Clos' tapestry was woven from a carton made in 1972, inspired by the large 'Plein Champ' tapestry whose carton had been created by the artist in 1970. There appear to have been seven copies woven between 1972 and 1974, two of which were artist's proofs.
