in polychrome earthenware, geometric decoration
of yellow, blue and green ribbons on either side
on either side of a median band
band. Yellow and blue ocelli decoration
in the reserves. On the shoulder
palmettes between colored fillets.
Italy, Faenza, late 15th century circa 1485.

This beautiful albarello is very similar in size and decoration
very similar to two other albarelli in the Louvre
respectively in the Musée du Louvre [N° OA
5998] from the Maurice Stora collection and in the
Stora collection and at the Musée des Beaux Arts d'Angers
[N° inv. 2003.1.407].
