The unveiling of a new Ferrari is a rare event, scrutinized by all car enthusiasts...
The 2004 Paris Motor Show will be the scene of this event: the 360 Modena, a commercial success considered by many to be
by many as Ferrari's entry into the modern era, was replaced by the F430, the new mid-rear V8 berlinetta. The newcomer was also a great success: not only was it much more comfortable to drive, thanks to a new cocktail of aids, it was also more powerful, with 490 hp for 1,350 kg! Our example was delivered new in June 2007 from the Zender factory in Germany, in an absolutely unique configuration... Some options are already very interesting (carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon finish for the cockpit, absence of the Cavalino on the front fenders, yellow rev counter), but two elements make this car truly important...
The first, and most visible, is of course its extremely rare (not to say unique on F430 Coupés) color: Rosso Barchetta 322, a dark, non-metallic red derived from Ferrari single-seaters of the 1950s. Where the 360s were spoiled with a few examples wearing this color, the F430s are much rarer, since only one Spider version is known in the USA, and this F430 Coupé has remained hidden in the collection of its current owner for many years... The second point is crucial, and makes the car even more desirable: the car is equipped with a manual gearbox! Sold as standard with an F1 gearbox, only a handful of examples had been sold with this 6-speed gearbox, and its mythical aluminum grille... The F430 is also the last rear-central V8 berlinetta equipped with this mythical mechanical gearbox on request from the factory. After four years in Germany and some 12,000 km, the car was sold to its current owner, an important collector from the Paris region. He used the car until 2017, when he decided to give it a complete new coat of paint (photos of the work on request), then put it away to keep it in this perfect condition. Today, the car has just over 59,600 km on the clock, and is in a rare state of preservation for F430s! Its entire history is known, and retraced in an important file that includes, of course, the maintenance booklet, stamped from the outset.
Here's your chance to buy one of the finest F430s ever produced... This one really ticks all the boxes, so don't be fooled.
so make no mistake, prices are already starting to climb!
The presentation of a new Ferrari is a major event, rare and closely watched by all car enthusiasts... It was the 2004 Paris Motor Show that hosted this event: the 360 Modena, a commercial success considered by many as Ferrari's transition to the modern era, was replaced by the F430, the new V8 mid-engine berlinetta. The success was once again evident: the new model was much more comfortable to drive thanks to a new combination of aids, but also more powerful, with 490 hp for just 1,350 kg!
Our example was delivered new in June 2007 by Zender dealerships in Germany, in an absolutely unique configuration... Some options are already quite interesting (carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon interior trim, absence of the Cavalino on the front fenders, yellow tachometer), but two features make this car truly significant... The first point, the most visible, is of course its extremely rare color (if not unique on F430 Coupé models): Rosso Barchetta 322, a dark, non-metallic red, inspired by Ferrari's 1950s singleseaters. While the 360 Modena had a few examples painted in this shade, the F430 is much rarer in this regard, with only one known example in the United States (a Spider) and this F430 Coupé, which has remained hidden in its current owner's collection for many years. The second, even more important point, is what makes the car even more desirable: it is equipped with a manual gearbox! Originally sold with the F1 transmission, only a few rare examples were sold with the 6-speed manual gearbox and its iconic aluminum gate. The F430 is also the last mid-engine V8 berlinetta to be equipped, on request from the factory, with this legendary manual gearbox. After four years in Germany and about 12,000 km, the car was sold to its current owner, a prominent collector from the Paris region. The owner used the car until 2017, before deciding to have it completely repainted (photos of the work available upon request) and then storing it to preserve its perfect condition.
