The 1960s gave the motoring world some of the most legendary cars of its history: the Ferrari 250 GTO, the Jaguar E-Type, and in the most luxurious segment of all, the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud| available in three different versions during its reign of automotive opulence, it will forever remain one of the most important Rolls-Royces!
Our example is part of the second series, recognisable above all by the adoption of a new 6.2-litre V8 engine, offering even
more impressive driving comfort and torque than its predecessor.
Today, the bodywork has an elegant patina, but its flaws include a trace of corrosion on one corner of a door and a missing part on the bumper| the interior has also acquired a magnificent patina over the years, and remains in very good condition.
After a long period of storage on the other side of the Atlantic, our car was picked up by its current owner, who had fallen in love with its colour combination| a complete overhaul of the mechanical parts will therefore be necessary before taking to the road again.
