HISTORY :
Architect Hector Guimard designed this thistle motif to decorate the facades of the townhouse of merchant Louis-Victor Jassedé, built in 1893 at 41 rue Chardon-Lagache.
This design was later used to decorate panels, friezes and uprights in the Grande Tuilerie architectural ceramics catalog of 1904.
It seems that this ephemeris calendar support was published by the Grande Tuilerie d'Ivry for advertising purposes.
