In polychrome enameled majolica, decorated with two mermaids supporting a large shell of seaweed with falls of enwrapped leaves.

HISTORY:
This model, very rare in this format, was shown at several important international exhibitions in the late 19th century, notably in Vienna in 1873 and Philadelphia in 1876.
