In-8, 74 p., lemon morocco, spine with 5 raised bands, gilt author, title and date, gilt fleur-de-lys on the caissons and corners of the boards, gilt coat of arms in the center of each board, double gilt fillet on the edges, inner lace, blue moiré satin lining and endpapers, gilt edges, cover and spine preserved, case [Pagnant] (qq. small stains on boards and spine).
A very fine copy bound with great luxury by Pagnant. It bears the arms of Joseph Dominique de Tulle de Villefranche (1768- 1847), peer of France, employed after him by one of his direct descendants.
