Wen Yongchen, also known as Wing Sum Wan, was born in Guangdong, China, in 1922. A self-taught artist, he mastered calligraphy of both Chinese and Western characters. He writes microscopic poems in French, English and Chinese that resemble insect antennae. Like the antennae of the brown grasshopper, where the following poem is written:
"You who come from my native land, you must know a thousand things about it, when you left, had the winter plum blossomed outside my window, 1977 Nouméa".
Wen Yongchen hay còn gọi là Wing Sum Wan) sinh năm 1922 tại Quảng Đông, Trung Quốc. Wen Yongchen là một nghệ sĩ tự học với kỹ năng điêu luyện trong nghệ thuật thư pháp cả chữ Hán lẫn chữ phương Tây. Ông sáng tạo các bài thơ siêu nhỏ bằng tiếng Pháp, tiếng Anh hoặc tiếng Trung, sử dụng chúng để tạo hình thành râu của côn trùng. Một ví dụ điển hình là râu của chú châu chấu màu nâu, trên đó viết:
"Bạn đến từ quê hương của tôi, hẳn bạn biết ngàn điều, khi bạn rời đi, cây mai mùa đông trước cửa sổ của tôi đã nở chưa, 1977 Nouméa"
