Case: round on completely smooth hinge, "GR" monogram on back in white enamel, gold bowl with a dedication "souvenir de profonde reconnaissance 1912" signed "Patek Philippe &| Cie, Genève", numbered "138220", back numbered "270085", one push-button on the pendant for the chronograph
Dial: white enamel with Arabic numerals for hours and minutes, small second hand for seconds, central chronograph hand, minute track with 1/5th of a second graduation, signed "Patek Philippe &| Cie, Genève".
Movement: mechanical with crown winding, compensated bimetallic balance, anchor escapement, micrometric adjustment, signed and numbered "Patek Philippe &| Cie, Genève No. 138220".
Accompanied by monogrammed "GR" case, certificate of origin, spring, additional glass and signed leather carrying case

According to family tradition, this watch belonged to the surgeon Gabriel Roux (Marseille). It was given to him by one of his patients, then carefully preserved in its original box, engraved "G R". It is accompanied by all the accessories sold at the time, such as the Patek Philippe certificate of origin, a spare spring, a spare crystal and a leather travel case. Its state of preservation is remarkable.
Dr. Gabriel Roux was a professor at the École de Médecine, a surgeon at the Marseilles hospitals at the age of 29, and renowned for his exceptional surgical talent. He was distinguished during the Great War of 1914-1918.
